No Patriotic, Flag Waving, Fourth Of July For Progressives (Liberals)
Let's not forget that many (perhaps most) left-wing Liberals do not share our patriotism, our belief in America's traditional values, our respect for the American flag, and our belief in a strong America.
Far too many Liberals would be happy and excited to see the American flag burned and trashed and America transformed into a third rate nation, subservient to the will, whims, and dictates of the United Nations and other countries.
As Howard Zinn writes in an opinion article on Progressive.org:

Progressives (Liberals) would like nothing more than to weaken and destroy America's traditional beliefs and values, and relegate America to a third rate nation -- socially, morally, militarily, and economically!
I guess we can see and understand why...
...Democrats continue to block efforts to pass a Constitutional Amendment to make burning and desecrating the flag illegal!
...Democrats believe illegal immigrants in America should have the "right" to fly "their" nation's flag above the American flag -- while burning and destroying ours!
...Democrats oppose teaching and encouraging pro-Americanism in our schools!
Perhaps Democrats would support a Constitutional Amendment making it illegal to burn the U.N. flag ! ! ! ! !
