Americans Overwhelmingly Believe In Jesus

A new Rasmussen poll finds that the vast majority of Americans believe Jesus lived, that he rose from the dead, and that he was the son of God!

79% Believe Jesus Christ Rose from the Dead

[T]he latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 88% of adults nationwide think the person known to history as Jesus Christ actually walked the earth 2,000 years ago. That’s up five points from a year ago.

Eighty-two percent (82%) also believe that Jesus Christ was the son of God who came to Earth and died for our sins.

Nearly as many, 79% believe the central claim of the Christian faith--that Jesus Christ rose from the dead.

Among those who rarely or never attend church, 50% believe Jesus rose from the dead, 58% think he was the son of God and 72% say he walked the Earth.

A separate Rasmussen Reports survey found that 53% consider Easter to be one of the nation’s most important holidays.

If these results are even remotely close to the truth, it makes one wonder why Christians would ever vote for Liberals (mostly Democrats) whose very agenda and efforts are aimed at undermining and destroying religion in America -- especially Christianity -- along with its values, morals, traditions, and beliefs.

It also shows the basic foundation still exists upon which Conservatives can rebuild and restore America... if they will make the effort and do so!

Obama bows, the White House lies!

As we've seen many times, Obama has trouble showing respect for America, one example of which is shown in this well known Time photograph. While others are showing proper respect as our National Anthem is being played -- with their hand placed over their heart -- Obama casually stares off into the distance!

On the other hand, Obama has no problem touring Europe, apologizing for what "he" believes to be America's faults -- even bowing down to the king of Saudi Arabia!

The Washington Times noted: “Such an act is a traditional obeisance befitting a king's subjects, not his peer. There is no precedent for U.S. presidents bowing to Saudi or any other royals.” Clearly Obama is ignorant of this fact.

In their efforts to "make this issue go away", the White House is trying to rewrite history, apparently convinced Americans will believe any lie they are fed by Obama's "media managers." To this end, an Obama aide denied that the president was bowing. “It wasn’t a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he’s taller than King Abdullah,” the aide was quoted as saying by Politco.com Wednesday.

While the White House tries to convince the American people of their "new and improved" version of history, the facts show otherwise. As you watch the video, note the area highlighted by the circle in the image below. Obama's left hand in the center of the circle near his knees.

Contrary to the White House, the YouTube video clearly shows that Obama does in fact bow down to the Saudi king. You will see the king reach out with his right hand and grasp Obama's right hand, at which point Obama continues to lean forward as he bows to the king, ending with the king (and the world!) looking down on him. The details can be seen better in the full screen version of the video.

It is not until after Obama straightens up from his bow, still holding the king's right hand, that you will see him raise his left hand and apparently grasp the king's hand in that "double handed grasp" which the White House wants you to believe "caused" him to bend over in the first place.

The White House wants you to ignore what your eyes tell you and believe instead that Obama had to bend down from his lofty height to grasp the king's hand! Anyone who buys the White House version is a true, loyal, and blinded Obama supporter -- lying to themselves!

But the real issue is not the lies. The real issue is that America does not bow down or surrender to kings and queens... to other countries ... or to terrorists! America stopped bowing to others when we won our independence and became a sovereign nation!

If Obama took the time to read some real American history -- not the Liberal revisionist version -- he might understand that!

Obama: Your Lying Eyes

Socialism 101

This following story is making the rounds on the Internet and the e-mail circuit. Whether an actual event or not, it pretty much describes socialism!

An economics professor at Texas Tech said he had never failed a single student, but had once failed an entire class.

The class (students) insisted that socialism worked since no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on socialism."

"All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so no one will fail and no one will receive an A."

After the first test the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who had studied hard were upset while the students who had studied very little were happy.

But, as the second test rolled around, the students who had studied little studied even less and the ones who had studied hard decided that since they couldn't make an A, they also studied less. The second Test average was a D.

No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around the average grade was an F.

The scores never increased as bickering, blame, name calling, all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for anyone else.

All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great as is the case with capitalism; but when government takes all the reward away; no one will try or want to succeed as is the case with socialism.

Could not be any simpler than that...

Even a "smart" college kid should be able to understand this!

Obama: More respect for kings than America!

Obama has trouble showing respect for America, as shown in this Time photograph, where he casually stares in the distance while our National Anthem is played, and others show their respect!

On the other hand, Obama has no problem running around Europe, appologizing to the world for what he considers to be America's faults,  and bowing down on his knee before the king of Saudi Arabia!

Obama... Americans and our nation stopped bowing down to kings and queens when we won our independence.

But then, like most liberals, Obama was probably taught the Liberal version of American history as was his teleprompter crew!

Sure they have other choices. They just refuse to make the really hard decisions and cut the government spending they've allowed to grow unchecked for too many years!

More States Look to Raise Taxes

At least 10 states are considering some kind of major increase in sales or income taxes: Arizona, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, Oregon, Washington and Wisconsin. California and New York lawmakers already have agreed on multibillion-dollar tax increases that went into effect earlier this year.

Fiscal experts say more states are likely to try to raise tax revenue in coming months, especially once they tally the latest shortfalls from April 15 income-tax filings, often the biggest single source of funds for the 43 states that levy them.

"Income taxes and sales taxes are the go-to taxes when you really need to raise a lot of money," said Donald J. Boyd, who monitors states' fiscal health for the Rockefeller Institute of Government in Albany, N.Y.

Legislators know the increases will be unpopular with residents. "There will be blame, we accept that," Sen. Eileen M. Daily of Connecticut said earlier this month when she and fellow Democrats announced a budget that raises income-tax rates and expands the sales tax to raise more than $3 billion over the next two years. Connecticut Gov. Jodi Rell, a Republican, has said she would veto the plan.

Many states remain determined to balance their budgets by relying solely on spending cuts. That is the case in Indiana, where raising revenue "is really not on the table," said Pat Bauer, the speaker of the state House.

Not only have Liberals spent our future, they are spending our reserves to deal with future problems.

If not stopped, the ultimate conclusion will be bankruptcy... for the states... and for our nation!

Obama seems to be looking for the best way to accept nuclear bombs atop intercontinental ballistic missiles in the hands of Iran's mullahs. Any chance that the United States would either take action to prevent this catastrophe or at least help Israel do the job ended on election night 2008.

Israel knows it must take out the nuclear weapons capability of Iran. And yet, Israel will not be able to do it. ...because Barack Obama will order the United States Air Force to stand in its way if it tries. ...With our bases in Iraq and those floating in the Persian Gulf, the United States separates Israel and Iran. Obama would have to give his okay for Israel to pass. Obama will not.

...Obama has surrounded himself with friends and foreign policy advisors who believe the world will be a better place once that sore called Israel is gone. These are not secret haters of Israel but open and proud haters of Israel. Obama surrounds himself with these people. ...

Israel was our old friend. Yesterday's friend. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ... is our new friend. ...Obama has made our choice for us. ...in the open and clearly enough even for the willfully blind -- that is, American Jews -- to see.

...Obama will make an exceptional speech. He will acknowledge the debt that the world will owe the Jewish people for giving up their homeland so that the world can avoid an end-of-days fate. Europeans discover Obama’s arrogance

...Europeans have a much different reaction to Obama today. After Obama endorsed Turkey’s bid to enter the EU, the Continental grumbling has broken through in the media ... Der Spiegel reports that German and French officials have begun complaining about Obama’s arrogance in injecting himself into a European decision, including French President Nicolas Sarkozy...

...On Monday, a number of politicians, particularly in Germany, went on the offensive. “It is a meddling in the internal affairs of Europe,” Bernd Posselt, a member of the European Parliament from Bavarian’s conservative Christian Social Union (CSU), blustered in an interview with SPIEGEL ONLINE. “The EU is not Obama’s plaything. … He should accept Turkey as America’s 51st state instead,” he continued. …

...this is what happens when we elect a head of state with no experience in foreign policy ... Even a moderately interested observer of EU politics would know that Turkey’s membership application has generated a lot of resistance and controversy. ...

[Obama has] already acted more arrogantly and with less skill than his predecessor ... After this episode, George Bush and his careful handling of the Turkish question might gain some new respect from the EU. ... George Bush managed to voice it in a manner that didn’t tick off our allies and demonstrate American arrogance?

...Bush was just more adept at diplomacy than the new guy.

If this had been President Bush, the Liberal media would be having a field day, but with Obama, they continue to cover up his blunders!

While Obama is out running around Europe on his world love affair, campaigning for World Emperor, and working to weaken America's superpower status, he has further polarized America!

For all of Obama's talk about bipartisanship, Pew Research Center finds: "...Barack Obama has the most polarized early job approval ratings of any president in the past four decades. The 61-point partisan gap in opinions about Obama's job performance is the result of a combination of high Democratic ratings for the president -- 88% job approval among Democrats -- and relatively low approval ratings among Republicans (27%)."

"The 61-point partisan gap eclipses George W. Bush's 51-point gap in his first year, and that was after the long recount and simmering charges from Democrats that Bush stole the 2000 election."

Obama's goal -- and that of his Liberal Democrats -- is to weaken America and make it "equal" with the rest of the third world nations!

Those arrogant Americans

We have a rock star president who for the first time in American history fired the President of a private corporation, General Motors, then immediately flew to Europe with an entourage of 500 courtiers and a worshipful media, bowed waist-deep to the King of Saudi Arabia, and proceeded to accuse his own country of arrogance.

Does anybody else think this guy is shockingly ignorant? I wonder if he has every really talked to a concentration camp survivor, or a Cuban refugee, or a boat person from Vietnam? Or a Soviet dissident. Or a survivor or Mao's purges.

Not to mention families with fallen American soldiers in the graveyards. Yes, he's going to Normandie, but will he apologize for our arrogance there, too? Does he really understand anything beyond the PC history of the world? Or will he just lie in his photo op at the American Cemetery at Normandy? ...

Why doesn't Obama just resign as America's president and run for World Emperor!

After all, he seems more concerned about the rest of the world than he does about our nation!

On Mar. 24, the Supreme Court heard arguments in Citizens United v. FEC, the latest installment in an ongoing series of challenges to the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act (BCRA), better known as McCain-Feingold. This case has far-reaching implications for the future of campaign activities, and draws an important line between the right of citizens to speak out and the power of government to imprison them if they do.

Far more important than the specific facts in this case was the enormous scope of power that the Obama Administration was claiming under BCRA, an array so broad that the justices balked at the government's answers to their questions. The Obama Administration claimed that BCRA allows the federal government to ban a 600-page book if it mentions a candidate's name only once, a 90-minute movie if it mentions a candidate's name once, or even a toy action figure of a candidate. If the organization uses a single dime of its general funds to produce, promote or distribute any such materials during the "blackout" periods, it becomes a federal crime.

The key justices in this case seemed astonished at the broad powers the Obama Administration was claiming under BCRA ... The issue in these cases is the freedom of individuals to act together to speak out on public matters. As Ted Olson explained in his opening statement, "Participation in the political process is the First Amendment's most fundamental guarantee. Yet that freedom is being smothered by one of the most complicated, expensive, and incomprehensible regulatory regimes ever invented."

One of the essential ingredients of a free society is the right to speak out for or against candidates running for office. Those who seek or hold power are held accountable through the ballot box, and freely sharing information and opinions about these candidates, their actions and their policies is the best safeguard to keep them honest and enable citizens to make an informed decision when they vote.

Americans really are fools if they stand complacently and idly by while Obama works to take away their Constitutional right to free speech!

We know the liberal media won't inform the American people of Obama's actions, but where's the outrage from Republicans and Conservatives on this attack on our Constitutional rights?

Where are the e-mails from Republicans and Conservatives?   I haven't received or seen any, nor have I seen any letters to editors on the issue!

Abuse Of Emergency Room Care

We've got single women on welfare having 8 babies at a time through in vitro fertilization for which taxpayers will pay the hospital costs of well over a million dollars (plus millions in welfare to raise the children)!

We've got illegal aliens getting "free" emergency room care, with American taxpayers picking up the tab!

And just when we think it couldn't get any worse, we have this...

9 patients made nearly 2,700 ER visits in Texas

AUSTIN, Texas -- Just nine people accounted for nearly 2,700 of the emergency room visits in the Austin area during the past six years at a cost of $3 million to taxpayers and others, according to a report. The patients went to hospital emergency rooms 2,678 times from 2003 through 2008, said the report from the nonprofit Integrated Care Collaboration, a group of health care providers who care for low-income and uninsured patients. ...

The average emergency room visit costs $1,000. Hospitals and taxpayers paid the bill through government programs such as Medicare and Medicaid, Kitchen said. ...

How much abuse of America's health care system will "caring and giving" taxpayers take before they finally say enough is enough and rebel?

Transferring those costs to "taxpayer" funded and subsidized health care insurance doesn't solve the problem either!
