... only two months after the cosmic anointing, Vanity Fair, of all people, unloaded on Barack Obama, in the terms it had reserved for the past four or five years for the likes of George W. Bush.

... media writer Michael Wolff, took an axe to the president ... beginning “Sheesh, the guy is Jimmy Carter,” ending “This guy is leaden and this show is in trouble,” and titled “Barack Obama is a Terrible Bore.”

... ex-fan Peggy Noonan called him “insubstantial and weightless ... not fully focused ... jumping from issue to issue and venue to venue from day to day.” “The administration’s difficulties ... have created an unfortunate impression of incompetence,” ...

... he was attacked by the New York Times in three columns and one editorial. One warned of an oncoming fall of Katrina dimensions. And these were his friends.

... variations on the theme of incompetence have had time to harden and set ... the financial crisis he was hired to fix has only grown worse under his tutelage ... immense sums in his budget are starting to stun the more moderate Democrats ... [and those] who once put their hopes in his ‘moderate’ temperament.

... the idea of Obama, the eloquent, elegant, trans-racial hero, able to inspire his way around anything, ran into reality ... revealing a not-well-prepared neophyte politician with an embarrassing penchant for gaffes.

... independents are heading back to the Republicans, who now have a (slight) lead in the generic ballot, for the first time in nearly three years.

[people were warned] ... this might happen, that there were risks to electing someone with no record or background to speak of, who had never done anything well except talk.

For the sake of a strong America and the future of our children, we can hope that Obama will fail in his efforts to impose his Socialism and Liberal agenda on America, but for now... the Obama nightmare is still alive!

Better still, don't just "hope" that Obama will fail in his efforts to weaken our nation. Be proactive. Stand up and speak out.

Support those individuals and groups working to defeat Obama's Socialism and the Liberal agenda of the out-of-control Democrat Congress!

Associated Press, March 25, 2009...

STRASBOURG, France. ...[European Union President Mirek Topolanek] told the European Parliament that President Barack Obama's massive stimulus package and banking bailout "will undermine the stability of the global financial market."

Topolanek's comments are the strongest criticism so far from a European leader as the 27-nation bloc bristles from recent U.S. criticism that it is not spending enough to stimulate demand.

The United States plans to spend heavily to try and lift its economy out of recession with a $787 billion economic stimulus plan of tax rebates, health and welfare benefits, as well as extra energy and infrastructure spending.

To encourage banks to lend again, the government will also pump $1 trillion into the financial system by buying up treasury bonds and mortgage securities in an effort to clear some of the "toxic assets" — devalued and untradeable assets — from banks' balance sheets.

Topolanek bluntly said that "the United States did not take the right path."

He slammed the U.S.' widening budget deficit and protectionist trade measures ... and said that "all of these steps, these combinations and permanency is the way to hell."

"We need to read the history books and the lessons of history and the biggest success of the (EU) is the refusal to go this way," he said.

"Americans will need liquidity to finance all their measures and they will balance this with the sale of their bonds but this will undermine the stability of the global financial market," said Topolanek.

This is what happens when uninformed people elect an inexperienced, slick talking media star for President, backed by an out-of-control Democrat Congress filled with free spending Liberals all determined to force their liberal agenda and Socialism on America -- regardless of the cost and regardless of whom it may hurt or ultimately destroy!

Taser Terrorists

Tasers have become law enforcement's weapon of choice in America.

Michigan 15-year-old dies after police Taser him.

BAY CITY, Michigan, March 22, 2009.

(AP) -- Police in Michigan say a 15-year-old boy has died after being Tasered by officers who were trying to break up a fight.

A Bay City police news release says officers answered a report of an early morning fight on Sunday. The statement says two males were arguing in an apartment, and one of them "attempted to fight the officers."

Police say officers Tasered him, and his reaction led them to immediately call for emergency medical help. He was pronounced dead at Bay Regional Medical Center.

This would not be happening if these were terrorists being Tasered instead of American citizens.

Liberals are outraged and up-in-arms at the thought of using even loud music or uncomfortable surroundings on terrorists to save American lives, but it's quite okay to routinely zap American citizens with 50,000 volts of electricity from a Taser gun.

Tasers are acceptable and used throughout the U.S. every day on American citizens, even kids. Tasers are obviously not instruments of torture.

Let's use Tasers to interrogate terrorists!

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Gold futures rallied more than 8% Thursday to end near $960 an ounce, as the Federal Reserve's plans to purchase as much as $1.15 trillion in U.S. bonds and mortgage-backed securities sparked worries of inflation ahead, raising gold's appeal as a hedge against rising prices.

"Looking ahead, we fear inflation. It may be that Dr. Bernankenstein has created a monster beyond his control," said Michael Farr, president of Farr, Miller & Washington, referring to Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke.

The U.S. dollar's losses in the wake of the Fed's move also lifted gold prices, with a weaker greenback raising gold's investment appeal.

As Governor Mark Sanford of South Carolina noted, March 16, 2009...

... the problem of too much debt cannot be solved with more debt. ...if you print enough of anything, you cheapen it. We’re out there running the printing press essentially on a currency and we’re cheapening it. You can go back to the 1920s with what happened to Argentina. You can go back to the time between World War I and World War II when it happened in the Weimar Republic in Germany. When it happened there, you needed a wheelbarrow load of currency to get so much as a loaf of bread.

We’re nearing a very scary tipping point, the point at which the international markets stop buying our debt. ...we get to that point where they stop buying ... currency free falls, and we have inflation and you just undid all the stimulative efforts that have taken place over this last year. ...

Three to four million families are now facing foreclosure, and Cuomo is one of the reasons why."

Republicans tried to stop this... New York Times word if you prefer.

"The Bush administration is rightly pushing for the Treasury Department to regulate the two giants, along with the network of federal home loan banks. Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae provide financing to lenders by creating a secondary market for mortgages... Their current regulator is ill equipped to keep tabs on Freddie's and Fannie's sophisticated hedging strategies and the other financial moves they use to manage their huge investments."

But Democrats manned and womanned the barricades and stopped such regulation attempts. Here was Barney Frank in 2003:

"These two entities, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, are not facing any kind of financial crisis. The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing."

We've been spending about a trillion dollars a month since this started happening. What do we have for it? Lehman Brothers is still broke. AIG, who received over $150B from the government already, is also broke. Everybody and everything is broke. Nothing is fixed. And no one seems to be fixing anything.

Since Obama was elected president, the markets have tanked another 30% or so, much of which is due to investor's fears over Obama's socialist agenda.

This legislation would subject the rest of the nation to a massive gun registration and owner licensing and tracking scheme. It would not only require all handgun owners in the United States to register their sidearms with the federal government, but also ...the most common handguns, shotguns, and rifles.

The bill ... imposes an onerous licensing procedure that would require gun owners to submit to intensive background checks and pay as-yet-undetermined renewal fees every five years.

...essentially making it impossible to defend one’s home by making it illegal to store a gun where it can be readily accessed. ...allow the federal government to revoke your permit if you move and fail to provide a change of address within 60 days. ...create a federal database of all gun owners and the firearms they own, making it ripe for abuse or confiscation.

Besides making it too expensive for the average person to own a gun, who will benefit most from requiring a million dollar insurance policy? Why the lawyers, of course, who will sue any and everyone they possibly can, driving up the cost of insurance even further, and guaranteeing that the average gun owner can't afford it!

Anyone who doubts that Obama and his Left-Wing Liberal Socialists aren't set on taking your guns had better pull their head out into the light and wake up!

WASHINGTON -- Eric Holder, the nation's first black attorney general, said Wednesday the United States was "a nation of cowards" on matters of race, with most Americans avoiding candid discussions of racial issues.

In a speech to Justice Department employees marking Black History Month, Holder said the workplace is largely integrated but Americans still self-segregate on the weekends and in their private lives.

"Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot, in things racial we have always been and I believe continue to be, in too many ways, essentially a nation of cowards," Holder said.

Race issues continue to be a topic of political discussion, but "we, as average Americans, simply do not talk enough with each other about race."

Holder cited one of Obama's campaign speechs last year as part of the "motivation" for his words!!!

When will the Democrats once again twist the issues into racism and "play the race card"?

The Obama Magic Act...

Obama now needs even more help to fool and manipulate the American people!

As reported in The American Spectator, Obama's handlers want to install an inconspicuous teleprompter or computer screen in his podium so his staff of "media managers" and propagandists can surreptitiously feed him information on what to say and who to call on during news conferences.

"...some inside the White House don't think that President Barack Obama hit a home run with his first national press conference... It looked scripted beyond the scripted part ... this one was pretty ham-handed."

...the White House is looking to install a small video or computer screen into the podium ... [to] make it easier for the comms guys to pass along information without being obvious about it" ... The screen would indicate whom to call on, seat placement for journalists, pass along notes or points to hit, and so forth ...

Using a screen is nothing new for Obama; almost nothing he said in supposedly unscripted townhall events during the presidential campaign was unscripted, down to many of the questions and the answers to those questions. ... not only his opening remarks, but also statistics and information he could use to answer questions.

Obama had a teleprompter set up for his remarks last week ...but the White House couldn't use the teleprompter for anything but the remarks, because the journalists were so close to the screens. ...

The screen must be small and out of public view so the American people (and the world) can't actually see how they are being manipulated by Obama as he reads from a carefully crafted and prepared speech, and how his "knowledge of the subject" is actually being fed to him by a staff of researchers.

We've already seen that Obama isn't too smart when he's speaking from his own knowledge and not reading from script. He continually sticks his foot in his mouth making dumb (but otherwise truthful) statements like "redistributing the wealth", or claiming to have visited "57 states" (with one more to go).

It's not that Obama is "being taken out of context", it's that when he's not following his pre-written prepared speech, he frequently slips and tells the truth... allowing the American people to see what he really means, and what he really intends to do to them and America.

Obama, don't continue to mislead and try to hide your obvious lack of knowledge. When you don't know the subject or the answers, fill in the time with some jokes; check with someone who actually does know the subject; and get back later with an answer!

Obama's news conferences can now be called the Obama Magic Act... just like a slight-of-hand magician, or a fake and deceptive "mind reader" performing before an audience, and being fed information through a concealed earpiece!

And I take warning from Isaiah 9:16: "For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed."

If government commands you to do evil, as a Christian you must resist. There is no alternative. Citing the "render unto Caesar" line is an apologetic for accountability to God – nothing more, nothing less.

Obamanomics... Wealth Redistribution A First Grader Can Understand!

What does Obama mean when he says big government must tax and redistribute "your" wealth! Ask your child...


Tell your child they must study, work hard in school, get good grades, and excel -- skipping play and television until they have completed all their homework, and done it well.

Then tell your child that, even though they did a great job and fully deserve A's on their homework, the teacher must give them C's instead because there are other "deserving" students who played and watched television, who did not study, and who must be given part of other children's grades so they too can pass.

Tell your child they must share and "redistribute their wealth" -- their hard work, studying, and good grades -- to other children who did not study or do their homework, because that's the caring and "fair" thing to do.

It won't take long for your child to figure out that they aren't being rewarded for their hard work. It won't take them long to figure out that they too can loaf, play, and watch television, get by with mediocre performance, and depend on other students to do the work for them, and share their grades!

That's Obamanomics... even a first grader can understand!


Tell your child they must work and earn their allowance. Tell them there will be no playing or watching television until they have completed their chores and done them well... and if they don't do their chores, they will not get an allowance.

Then, when it's time to give your child their allowance for their hard work, tell them they can not have the full amount. Tell them that you must take part of what they earned and give it to the child next door who played, watched television, and did not do their chores. Tell them that's the caring, human, and "fair" thing to do.

Ask if your child understands why that is the "fair" and right thing to do with the money they worked so hard and diligently to earn.

It won't take long for your child to figure out that there's no need for them to work and do their chores. They too can sit and watch television and wait for their "share" of other children's wealth -- their hard work and allowances -- to be "redistributed down to them".

That's Obamanomics... even a first grader can understand!

Obama: Pork, Pigs, and Lipstick...

Was it sexism, inexperience, or just poor judgment on the part of Obama?

Was Obama referring to Sarah Palin when he said: “You can put lipstick on a pig, it’s still a pig.”

According to news reports, Obama's audience clearly believed his comment was directed at Sarah Palin:

" ...Many in the Obama crowd leaped to their feet in delight - apparently taking the 'pig' comment as a direct slam at Palin." (New York Post)

" ...The audience, which had a particularly strong reaction whenever Obama mentioned Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, appeared to enjoy the 'lipstick' comment the most." (Reuters)

" ...Many in the audience in Lebanon laughed uproariously when Mr Obama made his lipstick remark, clearly taking it to be a reference to the first female Republican on a presidential ticket..." (Telegraph.co.uk)

Obama said nothing to his audience to change their perceptions, obviously happy with their reaction.

Obama now wants to "change" his story, saying he didn't mean what he said, or say what he meant.

Perhaps Obama just failed to comprehend and understand the meaning of his statements.

Perhaps Obama's thoughts were clouded by the vision of "pork and earmarks" dancing through his head... while dreaming of spending your tax dollars on all his pet Liberal projects... thinking of paybacks to all his Liberal supporters... and imposing his Liberal agenda on all Americans!

Uh, uh, um, uh ahhh, uh, um, ah, er... as much as Obama would like to "change" the facts, one thing we do know is that Obama called someone a pig.

High Oil, Gas, and Energy Prices... Thank The Democrats ! ! !

Angry over those high gas prices? Are skyrocketting gasoline prices taking a real bite out of your wallet?

Blame the Democrats and environmentalists!!! ...Don't blame President Bush.

Democrats (Liberals) and environmentalists are responsible for much of America's dependence on foreign oil, for high gasoline prices, high heating oil prices, high natural gas prices, high energy costs, and for the TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS that have gone and are going to other countries.

TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS in oil related spending and revenue could have and should have gone to American petroleum suppliers, to American businesses, to American workers, to American families, and for American taxes -- taxes that could have gone to America's education system and to increase American's incomes!

Democrats and environmentalists have blocked efforts to drill for more of America's oil and natural gas! Democrats and environmentalists have blocked efforts to build more refineries, to develop coal liquification and gasification, to develop America's oil shale, to expand the use of nuclear power, and more.

Democrats and environmentalists continue to block drilling in the Artic National Wildlife Reserve (ANWR) which some estimates predict could produce 30 billion barrels of oil. At $75 per barrel, that's 2.25 TRILLION DOLLARS that could and should remain in America. Even more oil and natural gas could be produced from along our coasts and in other areas within the United States.

And what about all the jobs associated with American oil and gas? Some projections estimate ANWR alone could produce as many as 735,000 jobs and multiple billions of dollars in revenue to the state and federal government. A study by the National Defense Council Foundation projects that ANWR could produce 1,000,000 new jobs for Americans in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Where are these jobs going now -- along with those TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS in oil revenue, salaries, taxes, and American dollars? Those jobs are going to Iran, Venezuela, and other nations to support their economies and to fund their military... to Iran to help develop nuclear weapons and missiles to possibly destroy Israeli and American cities.

It takes time to locate, drill, produce, build new refineries, and distribute oil and gasoline. That oil, gas, and gasoline would be available NOW -- IF -- Democrats and environmentalists had not blocked past efforts. Those TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS could have remained in America and held down our balance of payments -- IF -- Democrats and environmentalists had not blocked past efforts.

America must work to produce new, plentiful, cheap, and renewable fuels and energy, but that will take time. In the mean time, we will continue to rely on petroleum -- AMERICAN oil, gasoline, and natural gas. As we work to develop and produce those new energy sources, we must start drilling in ANWR, along our coasts, and other areas for the oil we need now!

As for those caribou that were supposed to be driven to extinction by the Alaska pipeline... just more of the usual liberal scare tactics.

The caribou are thriving! The Central Arctic caribou herd which numbered around 6,000 in 1977 when the Alaska pipeline begun delivering oil has grown to more than 27,000 by 2006!

DEMOCRATS...

Stop blocking access to American's oil and gas!

Stop blocking efforts to reduce the price of oil and gas!

Teaching Intelligent Design Science

It is appropriate to teach in a science class:

-- The concept of Intelligent Design as performed and validated by humans.

-- That from this time forward, Intelligent Design is now a fact, and will remain a fact for the rest of history.

-- That from this time forward, we can no longer say that all life on earth is solely a product of natural evolution.

-- That thousands, millions, or billions of years from now, a person observing or studying the descendants of those organisms created through Intelligent Design, any new organisms that evolve from them, and any fossilized remains would be indistinguishable from those which would otherwise have occurred through natural evolution alone.

-- That it would be impossible to determine if today's fossilized remains or living plants and animals are products of previous Intelligent Design, natural evolution, or a combination of both!

What part of that isn't appropriate for a science class? And won't stand up in a court? ! ! !

Teach the concept in the science class, and from there, students can read other books, speculate, and decide for themselves if Intelligent Design may have been a factor in the past, and if it might explain some of those "holes" in the Theory of Evolution"!

Intelligent Design is a scientific fact!

There are organisms alive today which were not created through natural evolution, but rather by humans -- through "Intelligent Design"!

From the moment in time that humans began manipulating, modifying, and changing DNA, Intelligent Design became an undeniable fact... and it will remain an undeniable fact throughout the rest of history!

The numbers of those organisms -- plant, animals, and combinations -- will continue to increase as humans continue to "meddle" with DNA. Many of those organisms -- created through Intelligent Design -- already exist in the wild today, and their numbers will continue to grow in the future.

Those organisms will evolve both "naturally" and through changes incorporated through subsequent "Intelligent Design"... possibly mixing with their wild relatives... creating new variations and species... and over time, making it impossible to distinguish between those which evolved naturally and those which owe at least a portion of their existence to "Intelligent Design."

Questions that remain to be answered include:

Who else was or may have been involved in the "Intelligent Design" of life on Earth prior to that of humans?

When and how many times did that occur?

What was created through "Intelligent Design", and what was created through subsequent "evolution"?

Who created the first life on Earth?
